Start to Finish

Having this level of expertise in so many different home construction disciplines allows me to work well with other trades to produce a better finished product.

The photo above is the back of the house before the addition.

This small deck is a welcome addition for us. It isn't large but it accomplishes all we need and is in scale with the rest of the house.

sidebar #3

Doing laundry isn't quite so dreary now that we have a bright efficient place to do it.

Come to think of it, we should be thankful that we have clothes to take care of.

Multiple Skills

• Bringing it all together •

This page shows a small addition to my own home.

I dug the foundation, laid the block, poured the concrete, did the framing, roofing, siding, deck and concrete stoops.

Since this is my own home I was even able to do the electrical myself, including moving the meter and installing a new panel.

addition and deck

An addition shouldn't look like an afterthought

On the inside…

I did the insulation, hung and finished the drywall, installed the trim and the stairway, made custom handrail and newel post, painted, installed ceramic floor and built the upper cabinets.

I did everything you see in these photos except the plumbing. The plumbing was courtesy of my son-in-law, the family plumber.
