The owner of this church pew wanted it restored for sentimental reasons: it came from the church his parents were married in. It had been in a less-than-ideal environment for a number of years before Ken restored it. He had to completely disassemble it, remove the original veneer, which was delaminating, glue the veneer back on, strip off all the old finish, make a new foot for one side, reassemble and refinish it.
